Hærleif a fantastic relaxing ambient drone album, The music is like a audio version of zooming slowly into a fractal, everything repeats but in new and beautiful way all the time. love the long tracks.

neglectsound Magnificent in its effortless ability to construct a sense of a sacred place. There is so much room for one's mind to go in this recording. Tagg continues to mine in the outer reaches of hallowed ground and rewards listeners with eleborate sonic quilts stitched in gold thread. Amazing. Favorite track: Vinsal Es.

about

Wind blows across smooth blue marbled surfaces, great expanses of melted ice, gulfs of innocent water, caressed by the soft breath of their cosmic mother. From below the surface of the ground, life crawls up, all tendrils and stalks before it can become blooms and bounties, the subconscious threads of a leaden, sleeping father. Gradually, inevitably, they meet, leaves in the breeze, running endless invisible tracks together in a playful chase, always meeting the sun on the crest of a new hill. A romance of electricities, a mingling of elements and chemicals, all catalyzed into the newness of the first Spring. Formless hands grasped, wordless speech spake, frothing urgencies washing up on the sand, rolling over shells and glimmering debris of stellar metals that long ago burned out upon entering the atmosphere. A moment of summed parts, noise and collision, stillness. Relief sighs down in the first drops of clear rain, dappled in sunny lines peeking through the exhausted trees. Meditation, observance of quiet, embracing of distance and space, for all the longing of communion beckoning and calling out in the void, absence can too be the answer. A small rustling of brush nearby seems to defy the moment, the rainclouds slowly pulling their blanket bliss over the sun, who might laugh and roll his eyes if he were not so tired now. The last moments of the longest day sink below the horizon, all things well and safe in their purpose, ready to inherit the world...And here, wherever here ever is, we are.

- Brian Grainger

Two hours of ritualistic drone for generative prayer and meditation culled from the Silas of Dragaah Turohnus.
